Who we are

Concerned Citizens of the Tri-Communities (CCOTC) is a non-profit community action group comprised of concerned citizens from Cameron Park, Shingle Springs, Rescue and the surrounding communities seeking to address important issues impacting the quality of life in our community. The purpose of our initial grassroots effort was to work collaboratively with citizens, community resource representatives, business owners, community leaders, and elected officials to address the growing rates of crime, health and safety hazards in our community through volunteerism.

As our group progressed and increased our scope and reach, we discovered that community service touched varying members of the community in different ways. As a result, along with our community advocacy efforts, the Concerned Citizens of the Tri-Communities began adopting a philanthropic approach to improving the quality of life in our community through varying program offerings and events.

We are a group of action and volunteerism that focuses on the majority priorities that exist in the community. In order to make positive change, it is important for all to be on the same page working side by side to have an effective impact.

We continue to evolve through community partnerships and initiatives to preserve this community where we live, work and play. We welcome all input from the citizens in our community.

“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”- Henry Ford
